Over the past few years, EEG has strengthened its presence in Brussels and Wallonia through two strategic acquisitions. These acquisitions are part of a clear long-term strategy: establishing a sustainable local presence in the regions where we operate, close to our customers and supported by local teams who understand the market, the language, and the specific needs of the region.
At the same time, we remain true to the values that define EEG: technical expertise, responsibility, quality, and respect for people, the environment, and society. Today, this approach is already reflected in projects for organizations such as the Grand Hôpital de Charleroi (GHDC), CHU Tivoli in La Louvière, and the Europe Hospitals in Brussels, as well as in projects across various other sectors.
As with any period of growth, the integration of our activities in Wallonia and Brussels has brought its share of challenges. We have used these as opportunities to strengthen our organization, address bottlenecks, and further stabilize our operations. Today, we are looking firmly to the future.
An important next step is the arrival of Jean-François Vandermeulen, who joined EEG Sud as Manager on 17 August. With more than 25 years of experience in technical and project-driven environments, he will lead our operations in Wallonia and Brussels.
Jean-François takes responsibility for the team in Namur and will also support the further integration and development of Ventair in Nivelles, where Sylvain Kapusi remains active as Business Unit Manager. Together, they will strengthen the synergy between both locations and continue to expand EEG Sud.
Our ambition remains unchanged: to anchor our technical expertise locally, stay close to our customers, and build strong, long-lasting partnerships in Brussels and Wallonia.
